yes, we totally were thinking about how un-wheelchair friendly your house is......julie is an ot and had some helpful suggestions--she said you could put a barstool (if you have one) in the shower stall on the main floor and he might be able to bathe in there
how many pillows does it take to keep him comfortable?--it took 8 for jeff
MIchael is able to put a weeeee teeny bit of weight on the leg so he can walk up and down the stairs. It takes a while and scares the crap out of me, but he gets it done.
He uses about 3 under his back and another two under the leg.
I am a culture of one(and quite possibly a petrie dish experiment gone bad)...The best compliment anyone ever paid me was a friend who said that I "wouldn't fit in anywhere!"

Did you know that all of the bedooms with a bathtub (essential now) are either up or down a lot of stairs?
