can't sleep.

in the days since surgery i think the longest i have slept in a stretch is about 3 hours. i went to sleep saturday at around midnight. by 2am i was wide awake. it is now 6am and i am still up.

tough to sleep anyway. the big news of the day wasn't that taz and bambam got married. we knew that would happen. well, we were pretty sure....

no, the big news was of course that hernando went down, and this time he is out for while.

i gotta say, shit like that will dampen a mood.

our teamies will go out and battle on tomorrow without us. gawd i hope michael and i get a chance to ride with this group again. 'cus it is a special group. and while the demise of team safeway has been widely reported, there is still a breath of life in the beast.

i hope we can save it, i think it is worth it. if not, there are other futures, no doubt filled with new wonders and delights. change is change, neither good nor bad, and if change is inevitable, i can handle that. but i gotta try to make this work a little longer. gotta try.
