cycling

i seem to have found a new kind of cycling.

my shoulder starts to hurt. i take a pill. i get woosy and the pain fades. repeat.

its been roughly 48 hours since surgery. i really didn't expect to be dealing with such intense pain this long. and the narcotics are starting to get old. little bits of dizziness have given way to spins and vertigo. it is getting really hard to focus my eyes on things. i also seem to have tempertature problims. one minute i am hot and sweaty, the next i am shivering.

apparently the photo above is really washed out. i don't even see bones. i hope that when he was putting everythin back together he didn't forget anything....

the distal and of the clavicle was itself in a few pieces. so i guess the surgery was really necessary.

bun bun has been taking such good care of me i can't even begin to describe it. i hope my thank yous are sufficient payment. i sincerely hope to never have to return the favor, as it were...

cus i have reached a new level of helplessness. trips to the bathroom are now a two person job.

oi.

but while i am considering myself officially miserable, i still count myself lucky. things could always be worse.

and on that note i'd like to send a huge get well shout to T Lo. her injuries are a lot more serious than mine. Tim must be just beside himself. Best wishes to both for a quick recovery!

So thats about all i can come up with right now. I'd love some news from the race today.

that doesnt look as fancy as the thing in the picture you posted the other day

tell bun bun hi for me

Michael is staying in a hotel in antioch somewhere. With no interwebs! Poor guy is calling me to check his email. At least I dont have to blog for him too!

Anyhoo, he managed to salvage a 9th today. I'm sorry but I don't remember who won and exactly what happened. I was in the middle of making a pie when he called and told me the story. Michael is still pretty sore and having problems getting full power, but improving a little bit each day.

Hope you can get off the pain pills soon!

I'm glad you explained that pic, I thought it was you face down sleeping off the meds...don't ask thats what I see.

Keep your spirits up! Sorry I have no news to keep you occupied. Life is dull here...I miss my buddies.

Who knew your transformation into The Bionic Pab would start so humbly?

Glad to hear that you're in good hands and comin' back. And it would be really cool if there were some thin mints still around, but keeblers are pretty good too.

Yeh, I have had to do the two person bathroom thing - not pretty. Takes the relationship to a new level. :)

Glad toheaar you made it through surgery. I hate those pain meds. too. Vertigo, etc. It is all down hill now though.

Good luck recovering rapidly Jeff.
